Pastor Steve and his wife Linda come to us from East Texas. They moved to the Rusk area from Temple about 30 years ago. They have a hunger for God and it shows. Steve has been in the ministry full time for over 8 years. Steve spent a lot of his time doing continuing education for nurses, social workers, and LPC's, plus many others. Linda's caring heart has been shown over the last 31 years doing Adult Foster Care. Linda has retired and they both felt like God was calling them home to Temple. Steve's motto is we have to grow in God's Love, and grow in wisdom and knowledge of the Lord. Outreach is a key part of their ministry. However, he also teaches it is the church body's responsibility to evangelize as well. They both invite you to Dyess Grove to feel the love the little church on the hill exudes.
